Progettomoderno

The Italian furniture company Pianca appointed Modus Operandi to propose artists and designers for a new range of furniture with the aim of reaching a new audience.  The short-listed artists were commissioned to develop designs and maquettes that were fabricated as prototypes in the Pianca factory in Treviso. Several of the artists had not previously designed items of furniture, and the project thus provided them with the opportunity to develop their work in new directions.
