Modus Operandi advised Christ Church, Oxford on the commissioning of a new fountain for the publicly accessible quadrangle within the Cathedral Cloisters.  A proposal by artist Gary Breeze was selected and the work was installed and inaugurated in June 2008.  Breeze's work comprises a fountain and an olive tree within a planter; each element is set in lead marked with inscriptions.  The text around the olive tree is drawn from the Book of the Revelation, whilst the inscription around the fountain bears the words of Psalm 150.

The work brings together the elemental forces of water and life to create a powerful and unifying focus within the College.  Robert Sandell, member of Christ Church, generously funded the commission, which was further supported by the College.
