Chelsea & Westminster Hospital commissioned Adam Nathaniel Furman to design the main entrance to their new maternity unit, the doorways and reception area. The bold, colourful motif design has been realised in a series ofscreen printed ceramic tiles, framing the approach and entrance to the ward.
Radiance
It has said that after a birth there is a miraculous glow that immerses and then radiates from the mother and child, a flowering aura of newness and possibility and love. ‘Radiance’ fuses these themes; it is a colourful flowerburst of verdantly effusive happiness, an abstracted rush of elation."
