Kate V. Robertson, Glasgow-based artist, was appointed in 2023 to work as part of the John McAslan + Partners Design Team for George Square, Glasgow.
Following Glasgow City Council’s endorsement of Modus Operandi’s Public Art Scoping Report for George Square & The Avenues, artists were invited to express their interest in the design team project and from a shortlist of four, Kate V Robertson was unanimously selected.
Kate is currently developing her initial artwork concepts with JMP as part of their commission to deliver the transformation of the Square, and surrounding streets, as part of Glasgow’s £115 million Avenues programme.
