Sunshine House Wins RIBA Award 2008

A RIBA award goes to Allford Hall Monaghan Morris for Sunshine House, a new children’s community health centre in Southwark, London. Praising the use of colour  to  completely integrate exterior and interior, the RIBA panel said: 'The architects have worked with two artists, which again raises the quality of the interventions.' The art policy for the building was developed by Modus Operandi. Jacqui Poncelet and Milou van Ham worked collaboratively with the architects to integrate artworks into the design and fabric of the building.
